Finding Peace Through Guided Self-Acceptance Meditation
I want to share something super powerful that's been life-changing for me and many of my clients - that’s doing a guided self-acceptance meditation a few times a week. I know what you're thinking - "ugh, not another meditation post!" But please stick with me here, because this isn't your typical meditation advice, I promise.
For the past decade, I've been using this specific type of meditation practice to help overcome feelings of guilt, shame, and being stuck in the past. You know those days when you wake up feeling great, thinking "This is gonna be an awesome week!" only to find yourself glued to the couch the next day, drowning in regret or frustration? Yeah, I've been there too.
What makes this practice special is that it's specifically targeted at self-acceptance. Whether you're dealing with past mistakes, struggling to forgive yourself, or just feeling stuck in life, this meditation can help you shift your energy and reclaim your power. The best part? It only takes about 10 minutes every few days!
While daily practice is ideal, I'm all about keeping things practical - even doing it a few times a week can make a huge difference. Some of my clients meditate twice daily, while others (like myself) stick to just a few practices per week. It's all about finding what works for you without turning it into another chore on your to-do list.
I've seen this work wonders for people who've been feeling frozen in time for years, especially when combined with journaling and other emotional healing exercises. It's helped me personally in my journey as a mother, particularly when I'm being hard on myself about not being present enough or snapping at my daughter.
